Why OP |
If you have Op access to a Room to use WHY, this command will display
information on why a user has an Op in a room. |
OP |
Give an Op to a Nick Name at a time in a Room.
Room Services will set +o or +v to appropriately to each nick considering if they are either on an AO (or Higher) or AV respectively.
You also can use this command on your own Nick to gain operator status in the Room. |
DEOP |
Remove the specified Nick Op on the Room.
You have to be an AO to perform this command.
You also can use this command on your own Nick to remove your operator status in the Room if you are busy or away. |
CF |
CF command allows you to maintain the Co-Founder list of your Room.
Like the AO or SO lists, users added to the Co-Founder list will also
be automatically Oped by the Room Services when entering the Room.
Co-Founders may change Room settings and manipulate the SO list.
Co-Founders, however, may not change Room ownership or it's password, unless,
of course, they have been given the Room Password by the original founder.
Using ADD will Add a Nick into the CF list.
Using DEL will Del the Nick from the CF list.
Using LIST will list all current entries on the CF list.
WIPE will completely clear the CF list. |
SO |
SO command allows you to maintain the uper(S)- (o)p list of your Room.
Super-Ops, or SOs, have the extra privilege of being able to add or
remove users from the AO list of the Room.
Also, SOs are able to manipulate the Room's AK (Auto-Kick) list.
Using ADD will Add a Nick into the list.
Like the AO Room Services will automatically Op (+o) any user entering the Room if that
user is on the SO list.
Using DEL will remove the Nick you want from the list.
LIST will list all current entries on the SO list.
WIPE, which may only be used by Room founder or his CFs, will completely
clear the SO list. |
AO |
AO command allows you to maintain the (A)uto- (o)p list of your Room.
Using ADD will Add a nick into the list.
Room Services will automatically Op (+o) any user entering the Room if that user is on
the AO list.
Using DEL will Del the Nick you want from the list.
LIST will list all current entries on the AO list.
WIPE, which may only be used by Room founder or his CFs, will completely
clear the AO list. |
AV |
AV command allows you to maintain the Auto-Voice list of your Room.
Using ADD will Add a Nick into the list.
Room Services will automatically voice (Star) any user entering the Room if that user is on
the AV list.
Using DEL will Del the Nick you want from the AV list.
LIST will list all current entries on the AV list.
WIPE, which may only be used by Founder or his CFs, will completely
clear the AV list. |
AK |
AK command allows you to maintain the Auto-Kick list of your Room.
Any user joining the Room that matches an entry on the AK list, will
be immediately banned and kicked by Room services.
Using ADD will Add a Nick you want into the AK list.
Using DEL will Del the entry you want from the AK list.
LIST will list all current entries on the AK list.
WIPE, which may only be used by Room Founder or his CFs, will completely
clear the AKICK list. |
Register |
It allows to Register a Room in the Room Services database.
In order to use this command, you must first be a Room Operator you'll know this if you have a smiley face beside your nick in an unregistered Room.
<password> is used when you want to IDENTIFY to the Room Services as the Room Founder later on if you want to change your Room password or Change the Founder of it or other settings requires password Identification.
<description> is a short general description of what the Room's purpose is.
When you register a Room, you are recorded as the "Founder" of
that Room.
The Room Founder may make any change to the settings of the Room, or the actions Room Services takes in the Room.
Room Services will automatically give an Operator status to the founder upon
joining the Room. Once the Room is registered, you will have all the commands of
Room Services at your disposal.

Change Founder |
This will give you entire Founder ship of the Room.
You must first Identified to the Room you wish to
become Founder of by using ID command. |
| Room Info |
Shows information for a Room, such as the Room founder,
any modes lock, the current topic, the Room description,
any settings such as topic lock, the time the Room was
registered. |
| ID |
ID command will identify the user to Room Services as the Founder,
and give them full access to the Room. |
| Un Ban |
UnBan makes Room Services removes all bans affecting the current user issuing the command, and allow them to join the Room. |
| ChangeRoom Mode |
Mode command allows you to keep certain Room modes locked on or off permanently.
Room Services will monitor the Room for any mode changes, and if needed, will re-set any modes back to their original state - defined by you.
The follow modes are supported:
c - Strip color codes
i - Invite only
k - Key (password) is required to join a Room.
l - Limited number of users allowed in the Room.
m - Moderated. (Only ops and Star users can speak).
n - Messages from users not in the Room prohibited.
s - Secret Room. ( Doesn't show in whois).
t - Topic lock (Only Ops can modify the topic).
M - Only registered nicks may Chat in the Room.
R - Only registered nicks may join the Room.
Modes followed by a '+' are locked-on.
Modes followed by a '-' are locked-off.
For modes 'l' and 'k' you must provide a number and password
at the end of the SET command, respectively.

| Ops Guard |
Ops Guard will prevent those who do not have Room AO or higher access
from getting an Op.
Only those on the AO, SO, or Co-Founder
lists will be permitted to be a Room Op.
If you are a Co-Founder or founder, you may temporarily op
people not on the access list by using Op command. |
| Topic Settings |
Limit who is able to change the Room's topic based on their access in the Room, so you can allow only Founder and CF to change it, SO and higher, or AO and higher. |
| Change Room (desc) |
Allows the founder to change the description of his Room. |
| Protect |
Room Services will Re-Op those who lost their Ops, when someone try to De-Op them. |
| Room Memo Settings |
Sets the Room's minimum access level required to send a Room Memo
(A memo that is sent to all the nicks that are on the
AV / AO / SO / CF access lists).
<level> may be any of the following:
NONE - disable Room memos
AV - All users with chan access may send Room memos.
AO - Auto-Ops and up may send Room memos.
SO - Super-Ops and up may send Room memos.
CF - The Room co-founders can send Room memos.
FOUNDER - Only the Room founder may send Room memos.
Example:
